In past years, our church has had many fond memories of time spent at our go-to winter retreat, but this year we are setting out on our own, and asked, ‘What can we do to have some great winter fun in a new way?’  So, we created Ice Camp.  Specifically, Patty Ice Camp (after one of our youth leader’s online gaming names), an overnight retreat right here at HBC! Although on a smaller scale, we will take some of the best parts of Snow Camp games and competitions from past years (modified a bit), and combine it with worship, teaching, and small group times to build closer relationships to one another and to God.  We will be utilizing teaching and small group outlines from YM360’s “Uprising” curriculum to bring the students to Colossians 3:1, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.”

We would love to have your 6th – 12th grade student join us!  What a great opportunity to come together and be unified as one body in Christ, as we worship, study, learn, and spend time with one another!
